MICC
Milan International Choreographic Competition
MICC is an event created to invite young choreographers to challenge themselves by presenting their work in front of a prestigious jury. The selection for MICC is open to (pre-) professional students. The aim of this event is to share personal work with other creative, passionate and artful dancers and to win the unique prize of € 650,00 plus the invitation to participate to an international festival.
The video selection has been closed on the 15th of January and Milan International Choreographic Competition is proud to announce the 5 selected pieces to the final evening:
- Unicolors by Frédérique Dom (Belgium)
- Collective by Izabela Prokopek (Poland)
- Nel Mezzo di Niente by Marco Barone (Italy)
- Invisible Patterns by Tabitha Dombroski (Germany)
- Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 by Samuli Emery (Austria)
The final evening will take place in Milan on the 7th of April and one of these works gets the chance to win € 650,00 + the invitation to an International Festival in Europe. We are all looking forward to see them on stage and we warmly invite all of you to come and watch at Teatro Elfo Puccini.

Criterial of the selection:
Each piece must be min. 8 minutes and max. 10 minutes long with a discharge of 5’’ max. The group can be composed by min. 3 and max. 15 dancers and each member must be over 16 years old.
The evaluation is made based on these criterial:
